Phil has been working in collaboration with the NUT on a project to define strategies with which to raise white working class achievement in schools and is able to deliver training on this issue. Other issues in which Phil specialises are raising the attainment of boys, risk taking and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Phil is also able to come into business environments and deliver inspirational addresses based on the motivational skills he learnt in ten years in inner city schools. Previous clients include: British Petroleum, Enterprise Insight, British Libraries Association, Chartered Institute of Housing, Association of Local Government, Inland Revenue, Interbrand, Continyou.
